About the Role
We are looking for a passionate, fun and knowledgeable individual interested in teaching dance to primary and secondary school students as an after school club. The position requires the coach to plan each session, choreograph dances, teach dance technique in the styles of pom, lyrical, jazz and hip hop and prepare students for a showcase at the end of term. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, a dance qualification, a current DBS, experience in the cheer & dance industry as well as availability during the school day.
Responsibilities also include setting up the hall if required, ensuring students are dressed appropriately in the right attire and making sure the students are given to the correct adult at dismissal.
Requirements
- Dance Qualification
- Current DBS (preferable)
- 1 year experience teaching children (preferable)
- Public Liability Insurance
